Rapid-Fire Poster Presentation Guidelines
All abstracts accepted for “Rapid Fire Poster” will give a short oral presentation on their poster. Presenters are required to be in Cape Town to give their presentation in person.
Please note that 3 minutes have been allocated for each “Rapid Fire” poster presentation, followed by 2 minutes of discussion.
As this is a fast-paced session, rigorous time keeping will be enforced.
The Rapid-Fire Poster Presentations will also be available to view within the ePoster gallery on dedicated screens in the congress venue and online to all registered participants.
Rapid Fire Poster Presentation Upload
The Rapid-Fire ePoster upload system will be available from 1 March 2024. Prior to that date the presenter will receive an email containing the link for the upload. Please note that the presenting author will not receive this email unless they have confirmed their participation by 31 January 2024.
The deadline for Rapid Fire ePoster uploads is 30 April 2024. This deadline date is slightly earlier than the date for general ePosters to allow our AV team to check your ePoster prior to your presentation in the venue.
Your Poster will be available at your scheduled presentation time in the Rapid-Fire Poster zone, however, we still ask that you report to the Speaker Prep Room (Room 1.71-1.74) at least two hours prior to your scheduled presentation to ensure all is in order with your poster. Please bring a copy of your poster as a backup.
Important
Abstract presenters, please note that it was a condition of submission that all accepted presenting authors must register for the congress. Please ensure the presenter has completed their registration.
